Services provided:

Local Support to the Anglo American’s sites in Brazil, including:

 Service management, administration and computational environment maintenance:

  •  Installation, configuration and maintenance of Windows Server Platform Servers (File Servers, Network and Authentication Services, Virtual Servers, Microsoft Cluster, etc.), including maintenance of the Server Virtualization System (VMware), Storages System (SAN) and Backup;
  •  Configuration and Maintenance of the computers network infrastructure, including administration of all network services; proxy, IDS, FTP, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Active Directory, configuration of switches and routers, diagnostics and repairs of connectivity problems (LAN/WAN);
  •  Administration of data center equipment (Storages, Blades, Servers, Switches and backup robots);
  •  Administration of Backup Services and Tape Storage Control;
  •  Monitoring of the computational environment (servers, backup and storage devices) through availability tools (disk resources, memory, processing, network connections, etc.) and support in equipment maintenance performed by third parties;

 Support in IT Resources Administration

  •  Administrative control of equipment (Laptops, Desktop Computers, etc.);
  •  Activation and control of third parties services (printing, telephony, data links, etc.);
  •  Elaboration and maintenance of technical documentation.

 Help Desk

  •  Technical support (local or remote) to the users;
  •  Local Technical Support to IT environment;
  •  Configuration and Maintenance of computers network and systems;
  •  Configuration of Workstations and their respective applications (e-mail, Office, antivirus, etc.);
  •  Installation and Maintenance of Operating Systems;
  •  Identification of Hardware Problems and Opening / Monitoring of 3rd level tickets, activating other service suppliers of the CONTRACTOR;
  •  Monitoring of service queues and generation of managerial reports of incidents.

 Information Security

  •  Monitoring services, access control and incidents management (firewall, antivirus, IPS, IDS).

Project Management

  •  Scope definition, budget and monitoring of the deadlines for delivery of activities that are part of a IT Project;
  • Progress monitoring of all IT projects in development;
  • Development of the schedule and monitoring of its execution, focused on the best performance of the team;
  • Team Management, including functions assignment and tasks execution monitoring;
  • Consolidation and maintenance of the relationships between clients and Anglo Business Units.
